THE ORIGIN PM was founded in 1959 in Modena, the first Italian manufacturer of hydraulic cranes for trucks, with the name, "Precisione Meccanica S.r.l.", which then became "Autogru PM S.p.A". Already at the start of the 1970's, the company structured itself on an industrial basis, beginning the production of product series. Its product range exponentially increases, until reaching the current number of 45 series, with over 350 possible configurations. |

A NEW IMPULSE In 2002, 100% of PM's corporate capital is acquired by a group of managers with the aid of a BS Private Equity investment fund. The objective of the operation was to expand the company through investment in structures and the acuisition of interests in companies operating in similar sectors, with which decisive commercial and production synergies could be reached. |

OIL&STEEL S.P.A.
In fact, the following year, PM buys Oil&Steel, a dynamic company founded in 1995 and operative in the aerial platform sector. In its few years of activity, Oil&Steel had already reached a leadership position in the Italian market and a top position on the European market. |

PILOSIO S.P.A.
At the end of 2005, also Pilosio S.p.A. becomes part of the group. Pilosio is a famous trademark in technical instruments for the construction sector (scaffoldings and formworks). Pilosio controls the Lama Due S.r.l. company, specialised in t he production of scaffoldings and aluminium coverings. At the half of 2006, "Autogru PM S.p.A." becomes "PM Group S.p.A.", in order to represent all of its Business Units. |
